As a busy mother of 3, I've experienced babywearing first hand and have personally tried each product I sell. Before having my 3rd child, I worked out of the home and was gone for 2-3 weeks at a time. It was difficult for all of us, and after having baby #3, we decided that the time had come to find a different career. I considered going back to school, but didn't want to burden the family with the additional stress, and debt, that we would acquire. I've always wanted to open a children's store, and after rekindling my love for babywearing with our third child, decided to open an online babywearing store to help other moms find their perfect carrier.

The name "Uppy Baby" came from what many children, including my own, say when they want up, "uppy."
